Vindictive - Evaluation Task 6

What Have You Learnt About Technologies From The Process Of Constructing This Product?

Computer
When making our movie, we didn't use any specialist computers, but used standard ones as these do the job sufficiently and quickly. We used the computer to organise the many clips we had of our opening scene, and this was helpful as it allowed us to put all the shots in the right order in the final edit more of an easier job. The computer we used also allowed us to use the editing software without inconvenience .

Camera
The camera we used was suitable for our filming and final product as it was practical and filmed in a high definition, almost equal to the those that are used in a professional environment that cost thousands. It allowed us to film all kinds of shots from close-ups to establishing shots, and the frame rate was excellent for our fast paced moments such as the fight scene.

Tripod
The tripod we used was suited to our filming and the environment we were filming in as it could be extended to a tall height and shortened to a short height, all while maintaining a level balance for the camera to sit on. Its neck could also be adjusted to make a low-angle or high-angle shot. This made the tripod practical for all obstacles that needed to be overcome .

Editing Software
For our opening scene, we used two pieces of software - CyberLink PowerDirector and Adobe Premiere elements. We mainly used CyberLink PowerDirector for editing the majority of the opening, and was especially helpful for editing the fast-paced fight scene. It was simple and easy to use, while still giving a high quality, professional look to the final product. For the distribution credits, we used Adobe Premiere Elements to edit our animation of the chosen images. This is because this editing software was already installed on the computers we were using, making it convenient at the start to make one of the key aspects of the opening scene. It also allowed us to add nice effects that we wanted.
